The French midfielder is on a big list of players expected to complete their transfers soon, and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling will also undergo a medical check-up at Chelsea after agreeing personal terms.
Chelsea and PSG are also reportedly set to compete for Robert Lewandowski, who is arguably the best player in the world, should a move to Barcelona fall through.
The football world is also talking about Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy, who has apparently been hunting a number of clubs for his signature.

STERLING MAY BE WORTH GOLD TO CHELSEA
Chelsea fans have been eagerly awaiting the official announcement that England international Raheem Sterling had signed for the club, and that news doesn’t seem far off.
Sterling looks set to leave Manchester City after winning four Premier League titles with the club.
The Mirror has said the 27-year-old would undergo his medical check-up on Sunday evening (UK time) prior to the transfer.
The English star can still join his new teammates on their tour to the United States.
Football insider Fabrizio Romano has said City have agreed to a fee of £45m ($A79m) plus £10m in add-ons.
Defender Nathan Ake has also been linked with a move from Manchester City to Chelsea.
HEAVYWEIGHT MONITOR LEWANDOWSKI TRANSFER
Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is apparently being chased by two more football giants after expressing his wish to leave the German champions.
The daily mail have said Chelsea and PSG will join the race to sign one of the biggest names in world football if a move to Barcelona doesn’t go through.
The striker has expressed a desire to move to the Camp Nou in Barcelona.

ERIKSEN MAY JOIN MAN UTD DOWN UNDER
Christian Eriksen is reportedly set to become Manchester United’s second signing under new manager Erik ten Hag, with the Denmark international to undergo a medical check-up.
The world watched in disbelief during Euro 2020 when Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch in a game against Finland.
But following his return to the Premier League via newly promoted Brentford, the 30-year-old is expected to return to a major English club.
According to ESPN, Eriksen has verbally agreed to a three-year contact.
Eriksen’s medical check-up with the Red Devils is imminent and he could potentially join the squad for their trip Down Under.
‘MUCH INTEREST’ FOR MOOY
Socceroos international Aaron Mooy shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a new club as his manager reveals he has “a lot of interest around the world”.
But Mooy can eventually reunite with former Australian coach Ange Postecoglou with Scottish champions Celtic.
The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to Glasgow after he left Chinese Super League team Shanghai Port FC.
However, Mooy will reportedly have a number of clubs to choose from, with his agent Josh Barnett giving Australian media an exciting update on the Huddersfield Town and Brighton player.
“There is a lot of interest in Aaron around the world and we are weighing all options,” Barnett told ftbl.com.au.
“There is certainly no rush to make a decision.”
