Chelsea have taken a major blow with Juventus ace Matthijs de Ligt moving closer to a move from Bayern Munich.

Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic will be in Turin on Monday to negotiate a fee after agreeing personal terms with the Dutch central defender, 22.

A five-year deal of £292,000 a week is on the table for the 38-capster, who would rather play for Bayern.

The Germans are said to have offered £76 million for the man Juve paid £67.5 million for in July 2019.

Raheem Sterling is waiting for the full results of his medical treatment before reaching out to his new teammates in the United States.

The England international underwent tests in London today before sealing a £50 million move from Manchester City.

If all is well, Sterling 27 will fly to Los Angeles to meet the rest of his team.

The Blues also reportedly have “no problem” meeting Napoli’s £34m asking price for defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Blues are looking for reinforcements in defense after the loss of both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer.

And the Blues are now said to have ramped up their interest in Napoli defender Koulibaly, 31.

According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea are willing to stop the £34million Napoli is asking to part with the defender.

Koulibaly is out of a Serie A contract at the end of next season, meaning this summer is Napoli’s last chance to demand significant compensation.
