Big Brother Finale: Reggie Bird on Making the Final 3, Urges Fans to Vote


Big Brother contestant Reggie Bird isn’t confident she’ll win the series a second time, and she has a last minute plea to viewers.

Reggie Bird, who has been tipped to take out Big Brother for the second time, is calling on fans to vote.

Speak with the latchthe 48-year-old contestant jokingly said she’s not sure she’ll win.

“To be honest, I’m dealing with some tough competition, you know,” she told the outlet.

“I just don’t want to get that in my head and then be let down in the end. And because people have to vote, that’s the most important thing, to get me over the line.”

Bird added that she is “concerned that people will be complacent” and that her fellow candidates Johnson Ashak and Taras Hrubyj-Piper will sneak in and win votes.

“I’m dealing with tough competition, and they just have to go ahead and vote,” she said.

“I played fair and you know, I did my best. And I’m funny, and I’m good, and I did it for my kids! This one is for the kids!’

The then 29-year-old fish and chip shop owner won the series in 2003, taking home $250,000.

Ever since Big Brother Season 3, Bird has been divorced twice and is the mother of two children, Mia, 15, and Lucas, 12. The former flight attendant has also faced personal challenges.

Her son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was four weeks old, while suffering from a degenerative eye condition that has left her legally blind.

The Big Brother The Season 14 contender said this year’s $250,000 prize would be a game-changer for her and her family.

“I just want a roof over our heads for me and the kids, so that’s what I would use the money for, and that will help pay for Lucas’s medication as well,” she said.

“It’s mostly for me and the kids to just have some kind of security and stability.”

Aside from the price, Bird said: the latch it would be “amazing” to be the show’s first two-time winner.

“Write history, win twice, what better roommate to do that than me?!” she said.

“I know that sounds crazy, but to win it twice would be an absolute dream come true and an honor, to keep the crown on Reggie’s head would be amazing.”
